CSSBuy warehouse storage period explained
Track the live storage deadline for each warehouse item or parcel without confusing storage time with merchant return eligibility.
Start the clock from the relevant status
CSSBuy’s public storage article starts ordinary purchasing and forwarding storage from the “In Warehouse” status. The spreadsheet discovery date, order submission date and seller dispatch date are not the warehouse-storage start.
Items can arrive on different days, so each record should be tracked by its own status and date.
Use the deadline shown on the live record
Open each warehouse item and parcel record and note the displayed storage date or warning. A static guide cannot know whether an account notice, item type or newer policy changes the available time.
When the live record and an older help article differ, use the current account information and ask CSSBuy to confirm any unclear deadline.
Separate ordinary items from abnormal parcels
A parcel returned by a carrier, blocked by missing information or affected by payment problems may not follow the same timeline as an ordinary item waiting in the warehouse.
Check the record type, current status and latest dated message before deciding how much time remains.
Check extension options before relying on them
An extension may be available for some records, but its eligibility, duration, price and interface can change. Do not assume an older amount or button will still apply.
Confirm the option on the actual record early enough to use another official channel if the control is missing or the deadline looks incorrect.
Do not confuse storage with a seller return window
Warehouse storage determines how long CSSBuy holds an item or parcel. It does not require the original marketplace seller to accept a return for the same duration.
Review QC and resolve purchase problems promptly. Waiting because many storage days remain can reduce the seller-side options even while CSSBuy continues to hold the item.
Treat expiry as a material risk
Current storage terms can allow an expired record to be treated as abandoned or otherwise handled under the platform’s policy. Check the live warning and current terms rather than assuming the warehouse will hold it indefinitely.
Set an earlier internal deadline to ship, return or extend. Do not plan to act on the final day when payment, support or interface problems could delay the instruction.
Maintain a simple warehouse ledger
For each item or parcel, record the ID, current status, live storage deadline, intended action and a reminder well before expiry.
Update the record when an item is submitted in a parcel, returned, extended or otherwise leaves the ordinary warehouse stage.

FAQ: CSSBuy warehouse storage period explained
Where can I find my CSSBuy storage deadline?
Check the current warehouse item or parcel record and its latest notices. Use that dated information instead of a storage number copied from an older guide.
Do all warehouse records have the same storage period?
Do not assume they do. Item type, parcel status and current platform policy can affect the applicable deadline.
Can CSSBuy storage be extended?
Check the actual record for a current extension option, then confirm its eligibility, duration and price before the deadline.
Is the storage deadline also the seller return deadline?
No. Warehouse storage and merchant return eligibility are separate timelines.
What should I do before storage expires?
Choose whether to ship, return or extend the record, complete the action early and save confirmation that CSSBuy accepted it.
